The Story
June 2020
While the world was shutting down and most people were staying inside, I was fortunate enough to start a project right next door at my neighbor's house.
What began as a small, cramped guest bathroom became the standout feature of the entire home. I added structural beams beneath the floor, completely rerouted the kitchen HVAC, and opened the space dramatically. The result is a large, light-filled room with a curbless walk-in shower recessed into the floor. With the extra room we created, it only made sense to add a freestanding tub. It turned a basic guest bath into a true spa-like centerpiece.
The project also included a refreshed half bath and a fully rebuilt laundry room.
